SOUNDCRAFT Vi6 DIGITAL MIXING CONSOLE
ML has taken delivery of a new Soundcraft Vi6 didgital mixing console to add to the companies hire stock.
ML are preparing for a 2008 World Tour with Iron Maiden the first show is in Mombai on 1st February 2008. An Astraeus Airlines Boeing 757 is currently being customised to carry the backline and ML's sound equipment around the world. Iron Maiden's front of house engineer is going digital for the tour with a new Soundcraft Vi6 mixing console, a Digico D5 digital mixing console will be used to mix Iron Maiden's monitors.
...Iron Maiden have departed the UK for a summer 2007 festival tour. The ML team of audio technicians on the tour lead by Des Jabir are Mike Hackman (CVE), Pat Fisher, Mark Willett and Martin Anables. The touring PA system is a EAW KF760/761 line-array with SB1000 sub-woofers.
The tour includes festival's where Iron Maiden are providing the full production, including the Olympico Stadio in Rome. The other artists on the show in Rome are Motorhead, Machine Head, Mastadon and Lauren Harris.
Touring for Iron Maiden in 2007 end's at the Brixton Academy in London.
ML Executives is currently working with a large L-Acoustics V-Dosc system in The O2 Arena.
When Jim Griffiths of Vanguardia Consulting required a stadium L-Acoustics V-Dosc system for his acoustic tests at the new Wembley Stadium he turned to ML Executives. ML provided four arrays of 15 x V-Dosc elements on each array flown from Totum Towers. The project was lead by ML Executives Managing Director Gary Marks, all technical issues were handled by Oz Bagnall ML's technical manager. Certified V-Dosc Engineer Mike Hackman designed the system with the use of Soundvision. The results were amazing the system sounded fantastic and we were all surprised by the coverage.

UK - Vanguardia Consulting, the Surrey-based acousticians, sound system designers and noise control specialists, have been called in to design and specify a substantial temporary audio system for Twickenham Stadium's brand-new South Stand for the current series of Rugby internationals.
The system marks the six-month-old company's first live sound project since U2's legendary soundman Joe O'Herlihy joined the Vanguardia team in a consultancy role in September. The South Stand, which takes Twickenham's capacity to 82,000 for matches, allowed the stadium to host a record crowd when the stand was opened for the Investec Challenge match between England and New Zealand on
